OC Global’s Masato Suzuki Honored with the 43rd Ozawa Overseas Service Award
Mr. Masato Suzuki, Senior Advisor of the Port & Harbor Department of Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. (OC Global), received the 43rd Ozawa Overseas Service Award (Ozawa Kaigai Koro-Sho) from the Association of Infrastructure Development Institute–Japan (IDI-Japan).
This award was established in 1980 with a contribution from the late Dr. Kyutaro Ozawa, the first President of IDI-Japan, to commemorate his passion for international cooperation. The award is given to individuals and corporations that have contributed to “cooperation in land development overseas.”
The award ceremony will be held at the IDI General Meeting on September 26 in Tokyo.

The passenger terminal has been described as one of the most beautiful in the South Pacific.

Japan and the Kingdom of Tonga.
For 45 years, Mr. Suzuki has been consistently involved in port and harbor-related research, planning, design, and construction supervision work in Japan and abroad. He has made a significant contribution to the economic development of the respective countries through major port and harbor development projects overseas. These projects include the planning and construction supervision of the Project for Upgrading of Wharf for Domestic Transport in Tonga, the design and construction supervision of the Nacala Port in Mozambique, and technical support for the master plan of the Port of Mombasa in Kenya.
These achievements have been recognized with this award.
