Jakarta, INDONESIA – On November 12, 2024, Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd.  signed a memorandum of understanding for business cooperation with the state-owned company PT Mass Rapid Transit Jakarta (PT MRT Jakarta) in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Indonesia. This memorandum designates both companies as “priority partners” and sets forth an agreement to collaborate on consulting services in Indonesia’s railway sector – excluding yen-loan projects. The scope of this cooperation includes planning, design, bidding support, construction supervision, training, operation and maintenance, and project management, leveraging and complementing each other’s expertise and experience.

PT MRT Jakarta is the operating company of the Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system. We previously signed a memorandum of understanding with PT MRT Jakarta in July 2022 to promote Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) and in November 2023 to develop business creation strategies outside of Indonesia. With this new memorandum, we aim to broaden our collaboration to the entire railway sector in Indonesia and further strengthen our partnership.
