(Balanced cantilever construction method)

The bridge is a four span continuous prestressed concrete box girder bridge with span lengths of 75 meters, 120 meters, 120 meters, and 75 meters, and was constructed using the balanced cantilever construction method. It is a long span bridge crossing an existing expressway, and the girder works were successfully completed without any accidents over a period of approximately five months, from the start of girder construction to final connection. With the completion of the girder connection, construction of ancillary structures, track works, and railway system works will commence, with the aim of completing the Project.

During the ceremony, the Technical Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda), the project employer, expressed appreciation to OC Global and extended words of gratitude to all project stakeholders in recognition of their efforts.

LRT Jakarta, which is operated by PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda), commenced operations of Phase 1 in December 2019 on the section between Pegangsaan Dua Station and Velodrome Station. Phase 1B of this Project is an extension of the existing line and covers the section between Velodrome Station and Manggarai Station, with a total length of approximately 6.4 kilometers. The entire section is elevated and includes five stations. The joint venture, including OC Global, is responsible for the preparation of bidding documents, bidding support services, and construction supervision for this section. In addition, within approximately one year after the commencement of on-site construction, OC Global successfully completed the construction of civil structures for one station section and conducted trial operations. In recognition of establishing the shortest record for the construction and trial operation of an elevated LRT railway in Indonesia, OC Global received an award from the Indonesian record certification authority.
