On October 16, 2025, the Minister of Construction, Mr. Tran Hong Minh of Vietnam, and a delegation from the Ministry of Construction visited the head office of Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. (OC Global; Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) and held a meeting with President Yonezawa, and others.

OC Global has been engaged in many infrastructure projects in Viet Nam, including , Lach Huyen Port Access Bridge (Dinh Vu – Cat Hai Bridge), Ho Chi Minh City Water Environment Improvement, Hanoi City Ring Road No. 3 Construction, Long Thanh International Airport Development, and Da Nang – Quang Ngai Expressway Construction Projects. In addition, the company holds shares in Transport Engineering Design Inc. (TEDI), a leading infrastructure consulting firm in Vietnam, and Vietnam National Construction Consultants Corporation, JSC (VNCC), an architectural consulting firm, and has established cooperative relationships with them.

The Minister of Construction, Mr. Tran Hong Minh, stated that he greatly welcomed the cooperation of Japan’s leading consulting firms, including OC Global, in Viet Nam’s transport infrastructure development, smart city planning, and climate change response, and expressed his hope that they would further strengthen their presence in Viet Nam. In response, President Yonezawa, expressed his intention to continue contributing to the development of Viet Nam and to further expand the company’s business in the country.
