We are providing with consulting services, including project management, planning, studies, design, bid assistance, construction supervision, operation and maintenance, and so forth, targeted specifically at overseas projects in developing countries that are funded mainly by the Japanese Official Development Assistance (ODA) as well as other international organizations and private funds.

Our service fields range broadly involving:
bridges; tunnels; roads; railways; ports and harbors; airports; water supply and sewerage; environmental and social considerations; architecture; energy; smart communities; disaster management and recovery support; agriculture and rural development; water resources management; urban and regional planning; transport planning; tourism development planning; natural resource management; climate change measures; healthcare; education; peacebuilding; SME and BOP business support; real estate development, and SDGs/ESG support.

Positions available

For the technical departments, we are looking for consultants involved in the following specialized fields:

  • Civil Engineering: Structural Engineering (steel and concrete); Geotechnical and Geological Engineering; Underground Structures; Water Supply and Sewerage; Electrical Engineering; River Engineering; Coastal and Port Engineering; Seismic Engineering, etc.
  • Architecture and design
  • Transport: transport and traffic planning; traffic management; ICT; and logistics planning, etc.
  • Spatial Information Engineering and Data Science
  • Water resources management and disaster prevention: flood control; river basin and river management; groundwater; erosion control, etc.
  • Urban and regional planning and urban development
  • Peacebuilding and governance
  • Agriculture and rural development
  • Global environment and smart cities: forests; smart cities; renewable energy; EIA; climate change, etc.
  • Real estate development
  • SDGs/ESG support

Eligible applicants

Those who are expected to graduate from universities with a doctorate, master’s degree or bachelor’s degree, or from technical college in March 2023, or who have completed their studies within three years of graduation.

*As for the field of “peacebuilding,” only graduate students are eligible to apply.
*We are actively hiring foreign students residing in Japan and Japanese students studying abroad as well. For non-Japanese applicants, JLPT N2 level or above would be highly valued. Ideal candidates

We are looking for a person who:

  • Think independently and is a powerhouse of action.
  • Have excellent communication skills and can work in a collaborative manner.
  • Think freely and creatively without being conventional and is persistent enough to never give up and complete their works.

Working hours

9:00-17:00 (Lunch break: 12:00-13:00)

*Flexible working hours with some core time exemptions

Holidays

Two days off per week (Saturday and Sunday)
Public holidays in Japan / the country at work
New Year’s holidays (6 days: 29 Dec – 3 Jan)
Annual Paid Leave, Refreshment Leave, Congratulatory or Condolence Leave
Childcare Leave, Nursing Care Leave, Sick Leave, etc.

Starting salary

Graduates with a doctoral degree: 289,200 yen /month
Graduates with a master’s degree: 268,400 yen /month
Graduates with a bachelor’s degree: 253,800 yen /month
Technical college graduates: 243,400 yen/ month

*Overtime allowances etc. will be paid as accordingly.

Bonus

3 times a year (In total 5.8 months for last year)
