On February 6, 2023, an earthquake originating in the southeastern region of the Republic of Turkey caused extensive damage. In response to a request from the Turkish Government, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) dispatched an international emergency aid team and expert team. Mr. Tomoki Miyano, Deputy Chief of the Construction and Development Department at Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. (OC Global), participated as a member of the expert team.

In recognition of OC Global’s participation in the emergency aid operation, Mr. Akihiko Tanaka, Chairman of JICA presented a letter of appreciation to Mr. Miyano and OC Global.
