In this island project, OC Global will introduce cold chain facilities* powered by renewable energy to remote islands in South Sulawesi Province, promoting electrification and the development of the fisheries industry on these islands. This project marks OC Global’s first ESG investment initiative** and has gained recognition across Indonesia, which has over 17,000 islands. As a result, the implementation of the project is drawing closer. During a keynote speech, Mr. Gensly, Senior Policy Analyst at the Ministry of Home Affairs of Indonesia, expressed expectations for the widespread deployment of this type of project throughout Indonesia.
