The “Indonesia National Jabodebek LRT (Light Rail Transit)” is part of the development of the public transportation network, aimed at alleviating the worsening traffic congestion and transportation pollution in Jakarta. President Joko Widodo designated it as a national strategic project through a presidential decree, and construction commenced in September 2015. It officially opened on August 28, 2023. Following its opening, the train services have gradually increased, and as of September 12th, the daily ridership has already reached 56,286 passengers. During rush hours, in the morning and evening, the trains are often running at full capacity, and it is expected that the number of passengers will continue to increase in the future.
Our company has been providing consulting services for design review, construction supervision, and contract supervision for this project since April 2017. Our track record in these areas was recognized, leading to the recent award. This project has received high acclaim within Indonesia and was honored with the 2022 ACECC Civil Engineering Project Award.
