On October 1, Mr. Munkhdalai Tumendalai, an official of the city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Project Manager of Ulaanbaatar Metro Project, which is the country’s first underground rail project, visited the Tokyo head office of Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. and held a meeting with Mr. Yonezawa.

During the meeting, Mr. Munkhdalai provided a technical briefing on the Ulaanbaatar Metro, and they exchanged views on future perspectives, including Ulaanbaatar city’s development plan for urban transport infrastructure and efforts to improve public transit. Mr. Munkhdalai expressed his intention to welcome OC Global’s cooperation in various urban development projects in the city.

OC Global has been involved in several projects in Mongolia, including the feasibility study for the Ulaanbaatar Metro Project and project-management services encompassing survey, design, and construction supervision for the New Ulaanbaatar International Airport Construction Project. Drawing on experience and technical capabilities, OC Global continues to contribute to Mongolia’s development, both in ODA and non-ODA fields.
