■Hara Jeevan
Established in Delhi in 2015, Hara Jeevan is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing environmental issues. Its activities include large-scale afforestation projects to create green belts, solid waste management initiatives, as well as workshops to raise environmental awareness, engaging with schools, local communities, corporations, government agencies, and public institutions. In 2020, 2021, and 2023, the organization was recognized by the City of Delhi as an outstanding NGO.
In recent years, air pollution caused by PM2.5 has become a major social issue in India, severely affecting public health. To help improve the air quality, Hara Jeevan is carrying out a three-year project to plant approximately 35,000 trees across 3.25 acres in Noida, a city neighboring Delhi. OC India has contributed approximately 7.6 million yen to support this initiative, and OC India employees are also participating directly in the tree-planting activities.
