On July 24, 2025, Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. (OC Global; Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) held a workshop with its consolidated subsidiary, SMEC CONSULTORIA CHILE SpA (SMEC Chile), to enhance collaboration between the two companies.

The workshop was attended by Mr. Ronald Galisky, President of SMEC Chile, along with senior executives and managers. From OC Global, CEO & President Eiji Yonezawa and other key staff participated. The two companies held active discussions on their current operations and future direction.

SMEC Chile primarily provides consulting services focused on asset management methodologies for mining companies and has established a strong track record in the Chilean market. By combining this expertise with OC Global’s strengths in infrastructure development, further synergies are expected. In June 2025, OC Global signed a share acquisition agreement to make SMEC Chile a consolidated subsidiary.

OC Global will collaborate with consulting firms in various countries to implement high-quality, reliable, sustainable, and resilient infrastructure development.
