On April 21, 2025, Dr. Reiko Abe, Executive Officer and Chairperson of Oriental Consultants India Private Ltd. (OC India), a subsidiary of Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. , delivered a lecture at an event hosted by the Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences of Sophia University, and co-organized by the Faculty of Science and Technology, also of Sophia University.

Sophia University has entered into a partnership agreement with the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), under which it co-hosts workshops and symposiums with IIT Delhi and accepts international students from India, thereby promoting globalization through such collaboration.
Against this backdrop, Dr. Reiko Abe, who is engaged in metro projects in India, was invited to deliver a lecture. Dr. Abe introduced the metro projects she has been involved in and discussed the impact of metro systems and other infrastructure development on India’s society and economy.

Through lectures at universities, OC Global supports students in their career development, while also contributing to the promotion and understanding of international infrastructure projects.
