On December 24, 2024, Dr. Reiko Abe, Executive Officer of Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. (OC Global) and Chairperson of the Oriental Consultants India Private Ltd. (OC India) subsidiary, was invited to speak at the Overseas Business Study Subcommittee of the Railway Construction Committee under the Japan Federation of Construction Contractors (JFCC). She delivered a lecture on railway projects in India.

JFCC has established the Railway Construction Committee under its Civil Engineering Division to address various activities related to railway construction. The committee includes a subordinate organization, the Overseas Business Study Subcommittee, which conducts research and studies on overseas projects, including railway construction. Approximately 35 committee members attended the subcommittee meeting. Dr. Abe introduced the railway projects in India, which she was involved in and delivered a lecture on the impact of infrastructure development on India’s society. Following the lecture, she engaged in an exchange of views with the committee members regarding future railway projects in India.
