On October 30, 2024, the autumn imperial garden party, hosted by the Emperor and Empress, was held at the Akasaka Imperial Gardens. Mr. Sadao Orishimo, a Senior Advisor in the Port & Harbor Department of Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. (OC Global), was invited. Mr. Orishimo has been involved for many years in the Jakarta Fishing Port Project, a part of Official Development Assistance (ODA), and has continued to provide volunteer advice since then. In recognition of his contributions, including receiving the Foreign Minister’s Commendations, he was invited to this occasion.
