On September 12, 2024, Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. (OC Global) held a “Career Path Session about Recurrent Education: Earning a Master’s or Doctoral Degree while Working.” Approximately 30 employees participated from the conference room at the headquarters and online.

OC Global has various systems to support “learning” after joining the company to improve skills and technical capabilities. The systems include scholarship loans for earning a master’s or doctoral degree, administrative leave to study at school, and financial incentives for obtaining qualifications. These systems have been utilized by many employees. The I&D (Inclusion & Diversity) Promotion Committee, a standing committee within OC Global, planned and conducted the session.
The first session was held in September 2023, and this was the second session. Three employees who completed master’s or doctoral courses at universities in Japan and overseas while working at the company reported on their experiences and the benefits of doing so. Information on the internal systems was also provided.

OC Global is working to improve the employees’ technical skills by supporting their “learning” after joining the company and creating an environment worth working in.
