On December 22, 2023, Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. (OC Global) is reported to have acquired additional shares of the Vietnam National Construction Consultants Corporation (VNCC), a Vietnamese company listed on the Unlisted Public Company Market (UPCOM) of the Hanoi Stock Exchange (stock code VGV). OC Global’s ownership stake now stands at 6.92%.

VNCC is a leading architectural firm in Vietnam and is 87% owned by the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC), representing the Government of Vietnam. VNCC serves as a holding company for nine (9) subsidiary companies.

OC Global has previously collaborated with VNCC on multiple projects and recognizes them as a company with high technical expertise. It decided to acquire part ownership of VNCC with the goal of strengthening collaboration between the two companies, including business capital ties.

OC Global and VNCC plan to discuss further strategic business capital partnerships. OC Global is already the largest shareholder of Transport Engineering Design Incorporated (TEDI, stock code TED), the largest public works construction consulting firm in Vietnam. OC Global intends to expand its presence in Vietnam’s public-private investment sector using TEDI and VNCC as partners.
