Mr. Tsumura gave a poster presentation titled “Visualizing a Future Public Transport Vision through Collaboration with a Local Transport NGO, and Practices in Open Communication and Momentum-Building for Citizens and the Private Sector: A Case Study from Jakarta, Indonesia.” Presented jointly with FDTJ (Forum Diskusi Transportasi Jakarta), a local transport NGO, the poster introduced an initiative to visualize the future public transport vision for Jakarta and communicate it to citizens and the private sector. The presentation built on the outcomes of the “JABODETABEK Urban Transportation Policy Integration Project (JUTPI)Phase 3,” in which OC Global served as the lead firm of the joint venture*.
Mr. Akiho gave a poster presentation titled “Proposal for a Public-Private Co-Creation Platform Utilizing Big Data and AI Technology: Toward the Deployment of the Smart Mobility Planning Tool (SMPT) in Jakarta, Indonesia.” Focusing on Jakarta, the presentation introduced a series of project initiatives, including the development of a tool that uses people-flow big data to support the understanding and analysis of current urban conditions and the evaluation of policy measures. Through the two presentations, the team shared project outcomes related to the promotion of smart mobility in Jakarta and to public transport planning and communication in collaboration with diverse local stakeholders. The poster session also provided an opportunity to explain the initiatives to visitors and exchange views with them.
