Ms. Miharu Hosono, Deputy General Manager of the Urban & Regional Development Department at Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. (OC Global), was interviewed by the Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), and the video has been released.

MLIT provides support to promote overseas business expansion and the mutual utilization of engineers in Japan and overseas. As part of these efforts, MLIT has released interviews with recipients of the Outstanding International Infrastructure Engineer Certification and Commendation.

Ms. Hosono received the MLIT Minister’s Encouragement Award under the FY2025 Outstanding International Infrastructure Engineer Certification and Commendation. In the video, she spoke about her experiences in the “Project for Kokopo-Rabaul Infrastructure Development Plan,” the rewarding aspects of working as a consultant, and what inspired her to pursue this career.
