The National Capital Region of Manila, the economic center of the Philippines, has a population of approximately 13 million. Due to rapid economic growth and the continued concentration of population and functions in the capital, traffic congestion has been worsening year by year. In response, the Government of the Philippines is intensively implementing large-scale urban railway projects in the metropolitan area. The Metro Manila Subway Project is being carried out with financial assistance from the Government of Japan through ODA funding and grant aid. With a total length of approximately 34 kilometers, construction is steadily progressing toward its targeted commencement of operations in 2032.

OC Global is contributing to the establishment of secure, safe, and efficient infrastructure, while also making a positive impact on the reduction of CO2 emissions in the respective country through railway development.
