“Ideathon” is a portmanteau of “idea” and “marathon,” where participants brainstorm ideas within a set time frame, continuously refine them, and compete for results, akin to a marathon. This Ideathon marked the third time.
On this occasion, a total of 18 employees, primarily young staff members, formed four teams and spent several months engaging in intensive brainstorming sessions and discussions, to develop ideas addressing various challenges and proposing corresponding solutions. Throughout the discussion process, not only the concreteness of the ideas but also their feasibility for implementation in actual projects, potential risks and mitigation measures, and market viability, including whether sufficient demand exists, were carefully researched and examined.
During the Q&A session at the presentation event, many specific questions and comments were raised with a view toward business development, such as “How are these ideas differentiated from similar existing businesses, and what are our company’s strengths in implementing them?” and “Can the business be implemented independently by our company, or is collaboration with other companies possible?”
The winning team’s idea will be pursued with the aim of business development.
