On 25 November 2025, Mr. Davaadalai Tumendalai, Deputy Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, and Mr. Munkhdalai Tumendalai, Project Manager of Ulaanbaatar Metro, visited the Tokyo Head Office of Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. (OC Global; headquartered in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) and met with its CEO & President, Mr. Eiji Yonezawa.

During the meeting, the Deputy Mayor shared technical updates on development plans in Ulaanbaatar, including the Ulaanbaatar Metro, the airport railway, and satellite cities. Both sides exchanged views on Mongolia’s urban transport infrastructure development plans and public transit improvement initiatives, and discussed prospects in these areas. The Deputy Mayor also expressed his intention to further strengthen collaboration with OC Global across various urban development projects in Mongolia.

OC Global has contributed to several key projects in Mongolia, including the feasibility study for the Ulaanbaatar Metro Project; survey, design, and construction supervision for the New Ulaanbaatar International Airport Construction Project; and project management services encompassing studies and design for the Project for the Improvement of Railway Transportation in Mongolia. Leveraging its extensive experience and technical expertise, OC Global continues to support Mongolia’s sustainable development, both ODA and non-ODA sectors.
