“Round-Table Discussion for Recurrent Education: Approaches to Obtaining a Doctoral Degree During Professional Careers” was held

On July 25, 2025, Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. (OC Global) held a “Round-Table Discussion for Recurrent Education: Approaches to Obtaining a Doctoral Degree During Professional Careers.” Approximately 30 employees participated from the conference room at the headquarters and online.

Presentations

OC Global has various systems to support “learning” after joining the company to improve skills and technical capabilities. The systems include scholarship loans for earning a master’s or doctoral degree, administrative leave to study at school, and financial incentives for obtaining qualifications. These systems have been utilized by many employees. The I&D (Inclusion & Diversity) Promotion Committee, a standing committee within OC Global, planned and conducted the session. The first session was held in September 2023, followed by the second in September 2024. In this third session, three employees who have completed or are currently enrolled in doctoral programs at universities in Japan or abroad after entering the workforce shared their experiences and the benefits of their studies. The session also included information sharing on internal support programs and an exchange of opinions.

 

OC Global is working to improve our employees’ technical skills by supporting their “learning” after joining the company and creating an environment worth working in.
