OC Global Makes Donations and Contributions to Non-profit Organizations in India

Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary in India, Oriental Consultants India Pvt. Ltd. (OC India), continuously make donations and contributions to various organizations and funds in India while implementing various infrastructure improvements. OC Global donated approximately 3.6 million yen to the following organizations and funds, and OC India provided support worth approximately 9.8 million yen.

■CAPED – Cancer Awareness Prevention and Early Detection Trust
Based in Delhi, this is a community support organization that has been active in the healthcare field since 2014. It aims to contribute to the early detection of breast cancer among women who are socially and economically vulnerable. OC India supported the “Breast Cancer Screening Camp in the Community” project through this organization. Thermalytix, an innovative technology developed by the Bangalore-based startup company Niramai, is used for the screening. This technology uses artificial intelligence to detect cancer without radiation, enabling screenings to be performed without physical contact of the devise. In this project, 2,840 women were examined in five cities (Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Surat, and Ahmedabad) over five months.

■Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund
This fund was established in the name of the Prime Minister to provide financial support in establishing and improving medical facilities and pharmaceutical factories, providing relief assistance for victims of public health and natural disasters, and conducting related research. OC Global donated approximately 3.6 million yen.
