Character Show for Child Traffic Safety Education in Bangladesh
Dhaka, BANGLADESH – On February 23, 2024, Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; CEO, President: Eiji Yonezawa) held a character show for child traffic safety education in Dhaka as part of the “Dhaka Traffic Safety Project,” for which our company serves as the leading firm.

The Show’s Overview
“Sisimpur,” the Bangladeshi version of Sesame Street characters, along with DMP (Dhaka Metropolitan Police) personnel, who provided explanations about traffic safety.

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), aiming to effectively promote traffic safety education among children, entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Sesame Workshop Bangladesh (SWB) in November 2023 for the development of educational materials and the implementation of awareness events. As part of the “Dhaka Traffic Safety Project”, our company coordinated the signing of this MoU. The character show, held as part of the project, took place at the annual “Amar Ekushey Grantha Mela,” the largest book fair in Bangladesh, held in Dhaka. Many children had the opportunity to learn about traffic safety through the character show.
