Salzburg, AUSTRIA – Mr. Hong-Gyu Lee of the Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. (OC Global) Road Engineering Department presented a poster at the 15th International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM) Congress, which took place from October 9th to 16th, 2023.

The conference was attended by approximately 1,500 participants from 64 countries. Mr. Lee presented on the topic of “Pavement Failure and Flooding of Tunnel in Limestone Geology”, discussing a case study where significant water pressure affected the pavement structure under operation, leading to its deterioration and causing flooding inside the tunnel. He presented his research findings and proposed mitigation measures.
