LRT Jakarta, operated by Perseroda, commenced commercial operation in December 2019 for the Southern Line, from Pegangsaan Dua Station (station number S-01) in North Jakarta to Velodome Station (S-06) in East Jakarta, with direct connections to BRT Transjakarta among other rail and bus services. Phase 1B extends this LRT line from Velodome Station to Manggarai Station (S-11) in South Jakarta, covering approximately 6.4 kilometers of elevated track and includes 5 stations. Our joint venture is responsible for the scrutiny of the basic design, preparation of bidding documents, bidding support, and construction supervision for this extension.
This project aims to alleviate the worsening traffic congestion in the capital city of Jakarta by connecting the northeastern and central areas of the city via LRT, thus enhancing mobility for local residents and visitors alike.
